Our little friend, Foy (son of friends Shannon and Steve) turned th e big one this month. He is the first of the 2008 baby boom that occurred among our circle of friends. Oh boy Foy, sure set this years standards high with quite the celebration. Everything started with the most perfect invitations, a Stevaker design (Foy’s dad). Check out the cake to see a mirror image of the invites. The day of the party the Hamaker Home was jam packed full of chattering family & friends, great food, the most fabulous cake and the cutest little Foy. One of my favorite aspects of the party was that in lieu of gifts all guests brought a momento to put in Foy’s time capsule that will be opened on his 18th birthday. Isn’t that a fantastic idea? You will see a picture of my favorite time capsule item in Foy’s gallery. A guest brought an adorably wrapped twinkie! We had an incredible time in celebration of Foy’s first year! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Six months. I can NOT believe it. One of my favorite little girls just celebrated her half birthday. Emma Grace is growing up right before our eyes. Her parents & good friends, Melissa and Dusty are making sure to take advantage of every moment. They are so in love with this chubby thighed bundle of sweets. Oh and yes I will share those chubby thighs with you because there is nothing like a baby with some little chubs. My little bundle of sweets, while perfectly healthy, is currently in the 7th percentile so there is not much chub to be found on her. Thankfully I get my fill of sweet baby chub with Emma, though she has definitely lost some of it. Either way, Emma you are precious and your personality is in full blossom. I loved our time! Here is your sneak peek! P.S. What do you think of the storyboards? I have had fun using them on my personal blog for a while and could not wait for my first session of the year to use them here (note: storyboard method I have been using does decrease the quality of the photos so they are not as sharp as they will be for print. Just FYI. On mission to find new method)! Also, new things are just right around the corner. I wish I could share the sneak peek I received tonight. Just know that it is good and I will share as soon as possible. Lastly, the family nominated for Giving is Awesome is ah-mazing. I can NOT wait for you to meet them!
