So I have a confession.

I often cry during weddings. I even,um, tear up while editing your pictures sometimes. Yes with yours and yours AND yours.
While in the confessional I might as well admit yes, books, movies and music can evoke emotion in me as well. So, when your beautiful lives are coupled with a song that already makes me loose it, well, then I really loose it. All this to say that this post definitely embraces the situation described above and that, yeah I am a little sappy.

Jessica and Pete, thank you! Thank you so much for entrusting me in your wedding day. Thank you for being beautifully in love with each other. Thank you for bucking the norm and just being you and, um you. My favorite part of your wedding was when I found out you were foregoing the wedding march and substituting a song that, in my opinion, speaks so much more. Since all of you who stopped by here today may not have been in attendance at Jessica and Pete’s wedding, you will still have the opportunity to be clued in. The song that accompanies Jessica and Pete’s slideshow will take you to the moment when Jessica slowly walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams. Listen to the words and the meaning. I have loved this song since the first time I heard it several years ago.

Jessica and Pete I hope you love your pictures. I hope they evoke emotion in you. I hope that if you ever start to forget even a little, that these pictures will take you back to the sights, sounds, smells and emotions experienced on your day.  And lastly, I hope that you live. Happily. Ever. After.

Hope you love your slideshow sneak peak of the day you, Jessica, became Mrs. Anderson and you, Pete, became the luckiest man alive!

love you lots!

These two are over the top and I mean, in the good kind of way. Let’s just say that their engagement consisted of a room full of friends and family, a Valentine’s Day dinner, 15 roses individually delivered by separate special people, him singing to her, a poem and a partridge in a pear tree….and not to mention it was all a surprise!!!But, she was hooked way before the V-Day performance. The two met at church and both have a passion for wee ones. There will only be…oh I don’t know…forty or so that will be in attendance at their wedding. It was a van ride with said wee ones and non stop talk that led he and she to know that she and he would be together forever.

Can’t wait to photograph all the kiddos in just a couple of days oh yeah and you guys too :) Can’t believe we are two days away from your BIG DAY! Yay! Excited!

And yes, Jessica’s eyes are really that gorgeous and no I did not do one single thing to enhance them. Two words: God given. Two more: No FAIR : ) Ha!

Hope you enjoy your slideshow!!!

{sidenote: due to the compression of the pictures in the slideshow some look a bit “cartoonized”. Just know they are not like that in “real” life. Any computer whiz out there want to tell me what I am doing wrong? I will have to get with my web designer friend who is also launching my new site very very soon! Yip-a-dee!}

Pin It I have to admit, I typically smile while behind the camera. As if I am in the scene and a literal part of these precious families that I get to photograph. I have to admit, I typically smile while behind the camera. As if I am in the scene and a literal part of these precious families that I get to photograph. Well, this session included a couple of extra smiles behind the camera. These two are spreading a smiling epidemic, especially Amy. No Blue Steel (Zoolander) here, instead an immaculate pearly white grin that never ceased to exist.

Amy and Grant, you two are amazing. Two huge hearts that will soon unite into one. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your big day this coming this October!

Hope you love your slideshow.

Lauren is an ’09 senior who graduated a mere week ago. Ah geez! I remember the feeling myself. The biggest chapter of my life at that point had closed. No longer a child yet just not quite an adult because who really wants to be an adult anyhow? Am I an adult right now? Please tell me no. It sounds…way too…formal.

Lauren is super sweet and so much fun. She is the oldest of five kiddos, loves her friends/family/chocolate and her dream car is a 1960s mustang. Lauren has a huge heart, loves Jesus, will go far in life and gives great hugs. Lauren is awesome and I most certainly would not mind my little bambino growing up to be just like her…four siblings and all….ha! Thanks Lauren for coming out and rockin’ it. Hope you enjoy your slideshow!
