We are three for three on the Moncrief Photography blog this week and there is definitely more to come, but for now I am excited to share Anna and Graysen’s maternity session. This is actually the first maternity session I have done since I converted over to this website. The session reminded me just how much I love doing maternity sessions. I definitely do regret not having a session of our own done with Ada, but we will most definitely how more kiddos and most definitely have them done then.

I stepped into Anna and Graysen’s home knowing that I was about to encounter one of the most well decked out nurseries ever seen. Anna actually owns Paisley, a monogramming and gift boutique, with her best friend. So as you can imagine, just about everything her little guy owns is personalized. Loved it all! After taking a look at what life leading up to Parker looked like we headed downtown. Anna and Graysen were great to photograph. I swear I looked at some of the shots and thought these two have most definitely done maternity modeling before…haha! Of course they have not really done such, but these two were just THAT fabulous!

P.S. While Parker was not expected until January, he graced everyone with his presence just a couple of weeks early. He is doing fabulous and I am excited for the opportunity to meet up with him next week and document some time with he and his family. So look for more of him, very soon!

Hope you love your pics! Click HERE for the SLIDESHOW!

Love this flippin’ adorable banner that one of Anna’s good friends made for her baby shower! (Just may have to borrow this idea for the next baby shower I throw ;)

Love this silhouette of Anna’s cute baby bump!

Lover of Starbuck’s, fabulous music, the woods, writing, her friends and family. Anna is a great girl and I had a fabulous time with her. Unlike many of the other seniors I have photographed this year we went the more nature-esque (word? not so much. but for me, tonight? yes) route. It is always great for a change and Anna did absolutely fabulous! Thanks Anna for being your fabulous self!

Hope you love your pics Anna!

Check out Anna’s SLIDESHOW……Click HERE!

This shot was a request by Anna. She is on yearbook staff at her school….so here and her buddy are going to implant this photo below along with a pic of her friend doing the same thing but in the opposite direction…so yeah…they will be pointing at each other. Yup, they are cool like that! Thought this was a fabulous idea!

This is the only other shot that needs explaining or perhaps I will skip the explaining and just say this one’s for Holly. Rahaha!

For many many more shots check out Anna’s SLIDESHOW, HERE!

My entire life my family has been obsessed with ice cream. For tonight for example, we were at my parents house (my sisters included) and we devoured 2 half gallons of ice cream within 13 minutes of popping the lids. We even claim that ice cream saved my dad’s life. He was in a near fatal tractor accident years ago and just about everything was injured minus his bones which were safeguarded by all the calcium in the ice cream he has ingested, of course. The love for ice cream is very public. For my birthday this year a friend gave me gift cards to all of the ice cream shops downtown and drew a map (how cute and clever)! The hubs and I even planned an ice cream tour along the east coast to visit the home quarters to America’s favorite ice cream facilities.  All this to say, on a normal day in my past I would have claimed my family was hands down the biggest ice cream lovers in the world, but this little family definitely gives us some competition. Thankfully they are great friends so they share any delightful creamy goodness they get their hands on, okay well much of the time.

Clumpies is hands-down this families fav! Jennifer even received a hand delivered pint of ice cream from Clumpies when she was in the hospital the week Tucker was born. We ended the session this local ice cream shoppe favorite. Fabulous family + ice cream = pretty much perfection! Love the images that transpired.

This little family of three is very dear to us! Their Tucker and our Ada are less than two months apart and are besties!I love to see them squeal from excitement upon seeing each other in a given day. You three are fabulous and we are so very thankful to have you in our lives!

Much Love!

The weather was unexpectedly cold. The wind blew a thick and frigid whistle consistently throughout the day. The polar opposite can be said about the remaining details of the day. Spirits were warm and hearts were on fire, for Amy & Grant would never allow bleak weather to dampened their wedding day in any sense. My single favorite thing about this couple is their incessant smiling. They are so in love and it shows from the inside out. Laughter is always filling their conversation and adoration for one another is always seen by all.

Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such an important day in your life, the day you became man & wife.

Be sure to check out the sneak peek slideshow for MANY MANY more details of the day and be sure to take note of Amy & Grant’s song, “Forever & Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis.

Leea Butler did a fabulous job on Amy’s hair and Amy’s sister did a terrific job on her makeup. Both stayed perfectly ALL-DAY-LONG!

Be sure to notice at the top of Amy’s letter says, “Mrs. “Almost” Stanley”…aah-dor-able!

Prayer was such an integral part of their day. Love how Amy snuggled in while Grant prayed over their marriage!
The beautiful flowers by Weddings Etc.

Laughter is everywhere with these two!

You’ll have to ask Simon what he said to these two to get this unexpected reaction.

. . .and they lived happily ever after. . . THE END

For more of A&G check out their engagement session

What a delightful family! I feel extra blessed that I was able to meet up with three generations! The three youngest consisted of Tyler who is most definitely the caring big brother. Sweetness just exuded from his 6 year old body. Natalie is the beauty in the middle of her two brothers. She is both girly girl and tom boy. Fingernails perfectly painted, baby in hand, but she knows how to dribble a soccer ball and can hold her own amongst her brothers with baby in tow! At 2 and a 1/2, Bryson is the youngest of the siblings and is a smiley care free little guy. Always sporting a smile he goes with the flow, but most definitely is on the heels of one of his older siblings most of the time.

Haga Family, you all are wonderful! Such a sweet family and I love your playful interactions with each other. So awesome to meet each of you. Hope you enjoy your slideshow! Click HERE.

RoundandRoundandRoundandRound Web host-er (not a word, but today…for me..it will be) internet provider. Web-hoster no, internet provider. Alas, a little thing called the wireless router ended up the culprit. Oh my! I am a little dizzy. Glad it only took multiple exhaustive phone calls to both companies, a trip to a friend’s and a precious commodity called time (12 hours of it to be exact). In the end I am just so hap-hap-happy that the mirage has finally turned into a true oasis…I am up and running again! Thank you Mallory and family for being so very patient with moi today. I had intended to do this unveiling, um yeah those 12+ hours ago.

Mallory, the girl with the big beautiful blues and the most beautiful snow white complexion. The girl who would walk around from dawn to dusk hand and hand with either mum or dad or both. Who loves to walk on her tippy-toes while incorporating this hand holding method. Who loves her wagon and loves puppies. The little girl who loves to climb and loves her pacey even more.

Thank you three for meeting up with me. It was so nice to hang out and document this beautiful time in Mallory’s life.
