A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to do some details shots of a 1st birthday party. Christy Huie and her sister Cherish Hamill worked their little tails off with the details of sweet Adelaide’s (Christy’s niece/Cherish’s daughter) vintage themed 1st birthday party. From the vintage highchair to the fabric wrapped hula hoops, no details were overlooked. I arrived before the guests and left before they arrived. I am sure those in attendance had so much fun! How could they not?!?

This is by far not the first party Christy has ever planned, but this is one of the first under her new business name Posh Parties. Hope you enjoy all her details and be sure to let her know if you need help planning your next celebration!

These cupcakes with the multi-colored floral toppers are so adorable!

I love these handcrafted party hats!!

I am a sucker for a mason jar and old windows too!

I love how the old windows made the porch space feel cozy with a fabulous splash of color. The handcrafted flag banner was a perfect touch!

These fabric wrapped hula hoops made the modern day version fit perfect with the theme.

Sweet little family of three!

Yep, I am seriously in love with the hats!!

There were not only cupcakes, but a chocolate fountain buffet and. . .

an ice cream buffet.

The eclectic mix of furniture was perfect!

Adorable smash cake for and adorable birthday girl!

The sweet birthday girl with her beautiful mommy!

More of the eclectic mix of seating for guest relaxation and provoking conversation!

Seating for the smaller guests.

I just can’t say enough about all the details!!

This is a hand made fabric birthday banner! L-O-V-E!

Yes, there were many sweets, but there were also many baby friendly favorites

Happy 1st Birthday Adelaide! The bar has definitely been set high for all your future birthday parties :)
