Shane calls his son Elliott, while Michelle sticks with EJ. Either way, they both are infatuated with their little guy and I completely witnessed why! This little guys is so stinkin’ adorable and sweet to the core! He is just a few days younger than my little E. It was fun to see the same stage of life that I am currently living, but within another family.

Hope you love your slideshow. Click HERE.

The first shot upon my arrival. EJ had a perplexed look in regards to this stranger who had entered the house.

Michelle came into the room and EJ got excited about this very familiar female face. He batted his arms and took out his dad :)

The hand off. EJ is just a *little* fond of his mommy :)

Six months old is such a fun age. I love Elliott’s bright eyed smiley face!

This dude has some killer eyes!

Michelle you have great fun-mom faces :)

Elliott is all about flying around the room with his daddy

and pretty fond of zerbets too! :)

 This family is adorable…seriously!

EJ was all about all the attention!

One of my faves!

EJ you are so very handsome little dude!

She says, “I’m watching you!” :)

Seriously Michelle…you are such a cute mom!

The only time I saw EJ get upset the entire time I was there was over food. Once he sat in his highchair he was raring to go, but 2 second later he was all smiles. . .

Shane and Michelle changed it up between baby food containers and Elliott was not happy about the wait in between. Once again, 2 seconds later he was a happy camper again :)

Aerial shot of Shane and Elliott and an aerial shot of Michelle and EJ. Did not even realize I had gotten both of these until the culling process when I got home.

Yep, the food was over and EJ was not happy about that :(

…but as soon as Michelle started rocking EJ to sleep everything was right in the world once again.

She watched my every move :)

 So serene and peaceful

In the middle of the process Shane got a picture text from his brother displaying a new onesie he had just picked up from EJ. It said “Future Nerd”. Shane is a bit of a computer nerd so this is very fitting :)

 :)

Michelle rubs EJ’s eyebrows as he falls asleep.

SOOOO…

….SWEEET

Normal day consists of a late afternoon nap in his swing while the parents get to have time to their selves. Such a sweet shot of Shane transporting EJ to his swing. There is nothing like a sweet sleeping baby.

If you come visit Shane and Michelle on a later afternoon this is what you are likely to see.

Then EJ goes in his crib for the night.

 Sweet sweet sleeping baby!

 :)

You guys are awesome! I love your little EJ! He is amazing! I hope to see you all soon…very soon!

Love this little family of three! I got to spend Parker’s entire first year with him from in the belly to documenting the celebration of his very first birthday…and here we are quickly approaching his second birthday. Too fast people…too fast. Last time we met up, it was on a chilly December afternoon consisting of fleece vests and blue jeans. This time, was polar opposite. I seriously think it was the hottest day of the year. Seriously! You three are amazing!!!. This year we just headed in-door just a little bit faster :) Ice cream always does a body good, but especially when it is roasty outside. Thank you Clumpies for hosting us :)

Of course, you can never get enough of Parker so check him out in these other sessions from his “Baby’s First Year”:

Maternity Session, Newborn Session, 4 Month Old Session, 9 Month Old Session, One Year Session, Parker’s 1st Birthday Party
Okay Graysen and Anna, all this reminscing is really making me sad. Where in the whole wide world did time go!?!? As you can quickly see, this dude is not a baby anymore. Parker, newborn, 2 months, 4 months….1.5 years…you my little pal are awesome!!! Much Love!!!

This session was filled with sailing, sailboats and all things nautical. Okay, and two over the top sweet individuals that happen to also be gorgeous and pregnant. I am so very excited as they will soon be welcoming their little guy, Ike, around the first part of next month. Josh and Katie will certainly not wait long to introduce Ike to one of their greatest passions, sailing. With a life spent largely on the water, it made complete sense to do their maternity session right on the Tennessee River and where they house their means to their passion. . .their sailboat.

Oh and I would be remissed if I failed to mention Josh and Katie’s Yorkie, Jody or Jo-Jo. . such a little cutie!

Ike, you have some absolutely stellar parents just waiting for you arrival. I can’t wait to meet you little guy! In the meantime, here is this session’s slideshow. Hope you love C: Click HERE.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful are you Katie!! . . .and lovin’ that you have been having some major Raisenet cravings during your pregnancy. Sounds like a pretty healthy chocolate craving if you ask me :)

You guys are incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you!!!

I love this little one year old brunette brown eyed little cutie. Seriously, love her and this family of three…um yeah…love the entire package. It is my greatest desire to photograph love from one person to the next. I want to be a mirror into your family’s relationship. I want to right here on my blog completely reflect in all honestly how you love your family and just how much! These three have a whole love of adorable love to show. They not only love each other, but enjoy each other. They have the laugh together, snuggle together, twirl together, dance in the street together kind of love and glad I got to document every single bit of it.

I traveled to Jonesborough, Tennessee to document this very exciting time in Nadia’s life and I am over the top excited that I did. Hope you love-love your slideshow!!!

PS: Nadia’s skirt and custom banner were made with so much adorable love by her Aunt Laura. Oh and daddies that wear bow ties get extra chocolate syrup covered brownie points. Lastly, I love willow trees, especially willow trees with little families of three underneath :)

Meet Caroline, Davy and their truly too-cute-for-words, Nadia. . .

During the first half of Danielle’s senior photography session we took over her North Georgia family farm. We roamed the grounds for Danielle’s favorite hangout spots. She loves to study and read while over looking the pond and loves to hang out in the yard with her 2 beautiful golden retrievers. The farm is so very beautiful and so is Danielle. Ada, my 3 year old has been pouring over the pictures with me and this was her commentary: ”
I love that one. Oh, mommy, I love that one. Ooooohhhh that’s cute, mommy. She looks gorgeous.” Ada love, I have to agree completely. Our second stop was Lookout Mountain. Danielle had scouted out a couple of specific spots with her sister. Love that they went location scouting together. You guys did great and I love the locations you picked!! Danielle, I had a fabulous time getting to know you and your family. I had a great time with each of you! Hope you love your slideshow!!

Nope, these first couple are not Danielle, but rather some of the beautiful creatures she lives with on her family farm. I had fun hanging out with these guys too :)

Alright, from here on out the beautiful Danielle. . .

Gabbie, you are almost 2. I knew you when you were a bump on your mommy. I officially met you the very day you were born. I was at your first birthday party and spent many many days with you in between. Now you are a little girl who loves to run, dance, laugh and play. You can push a mini shopping cart like no body’s business, give ginormous hugs and are are just down right adorable. We love you so much Gabbie girl and we most definitely love your mommy and daddy too, our over a decade long BFFs :) xoxo to each of you. To many more days of documented love between the three of you.

This was a little mini session I did for these three after a kiddie birthday party we were all attending. These three did a full force unleashing of love for thirty minutes and this is what we came up with. Hope you adore these images of people I adore. Here is your slideshow.

This back focused shot is not typically indicative of my style, but for some reason in this setting I really liked the mood and energy it created.

Gabbie was serious about waving to the boaters out on the water of the Tennessee River

…she had a little wait, don’t go attitude toward them as they sailed away.

At almost 2, Gabbie is go go go! So we did alot of chasing and being chased.

She did slow down and stop for a moment when she found this flower.

After her mini stop and smell the “roses” break she wondered where her mommy and daddy had gone.

…and then ran straight to them of course!

Gabbie loves to fly around with her daddy. What two year old doesn’t? :)

…and then she was off again!

She sat down for a brief moment and did some itsy bitsy spider for me.

. . . and then it was time for a big snuggle from mommy.

love this one of some daddy love! Daddies that are affectionate with their kiddos make me swoon (mommies too. it is just more rare with daddies :).

love these curls Gabbie girl!

You are such a fun mom my Becca Boo.

Gabbster spotted an airplane.

and then she wanted to fly like an airplane again.

More mommy snuggles before she was off again. . .
