It wasn’t long ago when Lila made her beautiful entrance into the world nor much longer she was still in her mommy’s belly . She is now nestled cozily in her home full of love. A home full of people that I am thankful to call dear friends. I had a wonderful time seeing Lila in her new home and I fell in love with her sweet newborn face all over again. She is absolutely, positively precious!! Hope you love your slideshow Miss Lila Tate.
She has a wonderful big sister who is going to teach her so many amazing things. Upon my arrival Carson showed me some of those things she will be teaching her little sister. Carson got so excited with every new interlocking piece of her puzzle.
Lila slept soundly as her sister worked away on her puzzle of the United States.
She continued to snooze as her sister moved onto her little play kitchen.
:)
There is nothing like the stillness of a newborn along with the busyness of a toddler.
This was the first sign of Lila’s open eyes for the session. She stayed awake almost the entire time.
We were all impressed when Carson cracked her egg on her play kitchen’s counter then poured the egg into her skillet. It was hilarious! Here she shows me the subject of our laughter.
Little Lila decides to sleep for just a little bit longer
I love love love newborn feet and toes!
Lila was laid in her crib to continue her nap, but she was not a huge fan of the idea. Carson climbed up to see why.
Carson picked out a book to read while it was time for Lila to eat. Carson picked out a Corduroy book and was telling her mom she wanted Corduroy to read with her.
Her dad went to get Corduroy and she was quite excited!
Carson was told to run around the house while Lila finished her lunch. Carson took this very literally. She ran around in a circle in the hallway :)
She then walked up and down the hall peeking carefully into each room in search of her daddy and then *POP* he jumped out to get her.
Then some daddy daughter tricks. . . :)
You can tell they do this alot. She barely flinched. . .
Lila was in a milk induced coma :)
can not get enough. . .
Aston, days out from having a baby and you look absolutely amazing. . .like you were never even pregnant!
Lila raised her hand several times during our session. Each time, her mommy asked her if she had a question :)
Lila is so tiny next to her big sister and all the newborn diapering necessities.
Carson is so sweet and gentle with her little sister, but
(like most little ones when holder their little sibling) she was done holding Lila she was done. :)
Why are some of my favorite pictures of you located on the potty, Carson? :)
Playing birthday cake with her mommy while. . .
. . . her daddy worked on getting Lila to sleep.
Carson stopped in to bring them some birthday cake and to check on her little sister.
Carson you just grew up fast with the addition of your little sister. You look so big!!
Love Lila’s hair and the fact that she is shooting me a I’m-trying-to-sleep glance.
Carson, you are such a little beauty!
Sweet daddy daughter time.
Lila was happy as could be, but just not sleepy.
Aston, make sure to give Carson lots of attention even with much of her time being spent with Lila nowadays.
I see you Carson!
Time for one more book before the session was over. Lila definitely looked stoked about it :)
Carson ran to pick out a book so I got this sweet shot of these three.
:)
Lila with her eyes crossed like all newborns do time to time.
sweet sweet Carson sucking on those fingers :)
Little Lila still awake. I could not believe it.
teeny tiny
It was Sunday and for some reason that day of the week makes for extra good naps. I think Robert was ready.
Thank you Carson for loving on your sweet sister in the very last frame of the day.
Love you all!! Very much looking forward to the next session and hang time in between!! :)
