Each birth story so unique. Arrival unknown. Amazing no matter what. Such an indescribable honor to be able to document the entrance of life coming into this world. Thank you for that honor. Birth. Indescribably Amazing.

YOUR SLIDESHOW :)

Psalm 139:13-16

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

We attended the rehearsal as guests, but I couldn’t help but document a little. Our daughter, Ada, was the practicing flower girl after all ;) After doing a walk through of the ceremony we headed to the rehearsal dinner hosted by the wonderful Wamp Family. Everything was absolutely perfect! As solely a guest for this event I stayed in one spot and left the varied vantage point to the wedding day, but I kinda like the feel that the single vantage point offered this intimate event.

To say we adore these families is an understatement. Put this much amazingness in one room and incredible things are bound to happen. We really felt like we should have paid to have attended. We left the rehearsal dinner feeling ever so inspired. It was a friendship, marriage, love and passion conference all rolled into one. There were heartfelt tears and comedic induced tears (shed myself along with every other guest :). Thank you, thank you, thank you Weston and Shelby for having us!!

Your Rehearsal Dinner Slideshow! Can’t wait to share the wedding day next!!

I could not say enough about this amazing family, some of our favorite people in the entire world :) Everyone thought this family was going to be adding a third boy and instead this beautiful little girl is now a part. It has been so fun to witness the instantaneous love each of Lexi’s family members have for her. I could ramble on and on and on about this family of five. We are so thankful for each of you!!! xoxoxo

You will literally get to see Lexi grow through these pictures as they transition from hospital to the home she was brought home to.

Nellie is all grown up and two years old now! In addition, she is now a big sister and a really good one too! It had been a while since I had seen her and she was not quite sure of what to think when I first arrived, but she soon very much warmed up to me :) Nellie’s pappa primarily spoke French to her which was amazing, but at the same time validated that I have officially forgotten pretty much every word of French I ever learned in High School. Parlez vous francais? :) I love life unprompted and these four gave it to me. Love this sweet family of four. I know you will fall in love with them too!

There is absolutely nothing like a brand new baby. Shea definitely did not disappoint. He is cute and he loves to snuggle. Brian and Meredith have fallen perfectly into place in their roles as parents. It was as if Shea had always been a part of their life, as if there had never been a just them. It was wonderful to see this amazing interaction between you three. Thank you so incredibly much for inviting me to spend some time with you guys. Hope to see you again, Shea, very very soon! xo

What Shea’s mommy had to say about him:
I love that he made his arrival just in time. After preterm labor starting at 34 weeks…6 weeks early…and being told for 3 weeks that he’d come any day I was very ready for the waiting and bedrest and false alarms to be over. And for his dad’s sake…who is very much about details and sticking with the norm…he waited until the day he was considered full term at 37 weeks.  Still three weeks early but healthy as can be.
I love that his last meal before his grand entrance was my favorite…Mexican!
I love watching him during the short spans of time that he spends awake as he quietly takes in the world around him.
I love that this whole journey and our new little boy help me understand more clearly what God meant when he said we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
As a family of 3:
I love that no one can agree whether he looks like me or his dad or neither.
I love watching his dad fall more and more in love with him every day. It’s funny to watch him take his eyes off the game and just look at him. That says a lot. :)
I love afternoon naps as a family when Brian gets home from work.
I love trying to master the art of walks in the neighborhood and the walking bridge downtown with Shea and our 2 dogs.

And I love talking about what he might be like as he grows up saying things like “that’s where he will hit his first home run…Laura will be his kindergarten teacher…Aimes will be his best friend…he’ll love country music and drive a truck because he lives in Soddy Daisy and that’s what everyone else does.”
