I love custom. I love one of a kind. How special do you feel when you have the only one of something in the world? Jill Zaleski and her one of a kind jewelry will more than make you feel special. You will also look spectacular in her amazing pieces. A simple outfit can turn into something head turning with this eye candy. I love each and every piece and I had the most amazing time with this shoot which is my fourth collaboration with Jill. I can not wait for the next!

The gorgeous blonde bombshell who modeled for us is Katelyn Rose. She is also the muse for this collection hence the name of this collection being just that, “Katelyn Rose”. The other hottie is Jill herself. Yep, she can design AND she can model. You girls are amazing!!

shelby + chase / chandler + chaz {a just because mini session}

I love these guys! I only met Chaz the day of the shoot, but I could immediately tell he is just as awesome as the rest. I shot Shelby, Chase and Chandler’s senior sessions last year and hope to shoot each of their weddings one day too :) They seriously are amazing! I did a mini shoot of the four early one morning and we had some amazing light! This is only the second early morning session I have done this entire year. I am not much of a morning person, but these four and the early morning light made it more than worth it. Love you guys!!!

So the girls are roomies and wanted some pictures for their apartment. Such a fun reason for a session! I was more than happy to oblige!!

nicole + michael {chattanooga wedding photographer}

These two laughed non-stop from the time we met up til the time we departed! I heart those who laugh easy and laugh often. I truly believe that you two are going to be 90 years old, still in love and still making each other laugh! Love it love it love it! Michael will do anything to make Nicole laugh and she naturally thinks he is so funny and gosh Nicole, you have the most beautiful laugh and smile! I am so happy I don’t have to wait to meet up with you guys again. This month actually! Yay! We are so stoked to be shooting your wedding so very soon! I hope you bring every ounce of awesome sauce that you brought to your engagement session. I would be more than happy to repeat this session every single day. A fantastically fun couple will always have me at hello! See you so very soon and the meantime I hope you fall in love with your engagement session pictures. I know I already have :)

mallory + jeff . engaged {chattanooga wedding photography}

This couple is divine to say the least and they sure do have some chemistry. They can make each other laugh in an instant and steamy…oh yay…they’ve got that too! We had a blast running around UTC (their alma mater as well as mine) campus and ended with a swim in the Tennessee River. What a gorgeous couple with Mallory’s beauty pageant smile (seriously, it is perfect!) and Jeff’s rad set of dimples. These two features may have been part of what brought these two together. They met randomly at a mutual friend’s wedding. It just so happened that they were seated together at said friend’s wedding. Mallory, jokingly asked Jeff to be her date for the wedding. By the end of the night he. said. yes. Earlier this year Mallory said yes to Jeff’s even bigger question and the rest is history. You two are seriously fantastic! I am not going to be able to wait until your November wedding!

Staying in and trying out a new recipe or getting all dressed up and trying out a new restaurant are both perfect dates for these two. Either is always coupled with good conversation and THAT is what makes them perfect. Said conversation is easy to come by with these two whether a 3 hour dinner or a 6 hour road trip they simply enjoy each others company. They both love skim milk, music, Elf (the movie) and aquariums. They even have a life goal of visiting as many aquariums as possible. They currently live in Savannah, GA where Daniele is finishing up Med School. They have been joking that at halfway through Daniele has earned the M of her Md :) If you change your mind and decide to get married in Savannah, then I certainly would not mind. I love that city! Either way, I am excited to photograph your Patten Chapel wedding this December!!!

tara + tom {chattanooga engagement photographer}

Tom + Tara. He told absolutely no one and no one suspected anything. He loved her, wanted to marry her and needed to put a ring on her finger.

They went out to eat with his brother and his brother’s wife. Tom laughed at every joke, but held tight to his own. Still no one suspected a thing. After dinner Tara and Tom took a late night stroll around the Hunter Art Museum’s exterior. They had the place to themselves and Tom finally had much to say. . . how they had known each other for over 20 years and while friendship had ensued they had never dated, but since they had started seeing each other in this different light, fate stepped in and it was just meant to be. While these sweet words were being spoken. Tara remained clueless until she saw the ring box and heard Tom mutter the words, “Tara, will you please do me the honor of being my wife?”. With tears of joy she wholeheartedly accepted.

Tara has always had a thing for the 1940s and her wedding will be showcasing this theme. Tom, Tara and Tara’s sweet boys got all decked out in some 1940s garb for a segment of their engagement session. We had so much fun! After hanging out at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo everyone did a wardrobe change and we took a little stroll around the Southside. We used the last part of our session for some Tom and Tara only time in the same spot Tom asked Tara to be his wife. It was a jam packed fun filled engagement/family session. Seriously so excited to shoot your wedding in June.

amy + grant . just because {chattanooga photographer}

I had the honor of photographing their Chattanooga wedding and now a year later they are still as fun and flirty as they have been from the beginning. If not even more so :) Amy and Grant are kind and continually follow up on the well being of others. They think of others before themselves and are very close to both family and friends. I really enjoyed reconnecting with them behind the camera during our Just Because Session. There really is no need to have a “reason” to have a photo session. So often after we get married we never again have professional photos done of ourselves along with our loved ones. Even, with kiddos, many have their kids photographed but not themselves. I love that Amy and Grant wanted more pictures of just them. just because. :) . . .and what an absolutely beautiful day we ended up with for their session. The sky could not have been any closer to perfection. I did absolutely nothing to the sky in post processing. . . promise! This instead was a God given gift. Amy and Grant, I think you two are fabulous! Thank you for always being just that!
