Painfully shy, but ready for a change of scenery she moves away from home to start her collegiate life. Cocktail waitress on the side she meets a guy who falls into a long lineage of restaurateurs. After a long friendly and flirty at-work-relationship they decide to go on a date, which turns into a whirlwind of questions. What seemed so easy, felt a bit forced in the world outside the constraints of work . . . AT FIRST. It was not long until the two worlds felt the same. Nerves anxiety and shyness subsided. Things finally felt easy. A couple of years later, a balcony overlooking the sandy beaches of the Florida coast made the perfect backdrop for a proposal. Add 2 more years and here we are a month before their big day.

P.S. A&N’s fabulous weim, Bruno made an appearance during the session and as a former weim owner I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this weimaraner is the most chill weim that anyone will EVER encounter.

Sometimes the person you are meant to be with is right there in front of your face and you don’t even realize it. The person you confide in, call your best bud, even sometimes “fight” with like your little brother/sister and then one day you see that same person in a very different light. Terah and Justin were just that and now are excited about their quickly approaching wedding day. We recently met up with their wild puppy, Buddy who had each of us wrapped up in his bright red leash at least once :) I had a great time getting to know you two more and I am ecstatic about your upcoming wedding!

Lindsey and Ray, I can not wait to photograph your wedding next month! I had an absolute blast with you two during your engagement session. Meet Emily and Travis who started their dating relationship on a couch watching the ever popular drama series, Grey’s Anatomy. During this setup Emily may or may not have pretended to know a little more about Grey’s than she let on…haha…love it! This was a scene we reenacted during their engagement session. They once sat on a couch with two oversized pillows separating them and now with the progression of their relationship they interact as if they have known each other for decades and will be with one another for always. These two are over the top and I mean, in the good kind of way. Let’s just say that their engagement consisted of a room full of friends and family, a Valentine’s Day dinner, 15 roses individually delivered by separate special people, him singing to her, a poem and a partridge in a pear tree….and not to mention it was all a surprise!!!But, she was hooked way before the V-Day performance. The two met at church and both have a passion for wee ones. There will only be…oh I don’t know…forty or so that will be in attendance at their wedding. It was a van ride with said wee ones and non stop talk that led he and she to know that she and he would be together forever.

Can’t wait to photograph all the kiddos in just a couple of days oh yeah and you guys too :) Can’t believe we are two days away from your BIG DAY! Yay! Excited!

And yes, Jessica’s eyes are really that gorgeous and no I did not do one single thing to enhance them. Two words: God given. Two more: No FAIR : ) Ha!

I have to admit, I typically smile while behind the camera. As if I am in the scene and a literal part of these precious families that I get to photograph. Well, this session included a couple of extra smiles behind the camera. These two are spreading a smiling epidemic, especially Amy. No Blue Steel (Zoolander) here, instead an immaculate pearly white grin that never ceased to exist.

Amy and Grant, you two are amazing. Two huge hearts that will soon unite into one. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your big day this coming this October!

Sunflowers flanked the entrance way along with two little beauties soon to be flower girls. There was warmth in the air both in spirit and season. Upon her arrival she received a warm greeting and the room soon filled with her closest of friends. There was laughter and fun games involving toilet paper, banana bouquets and girlie accessories that scored extra points. A poem written haphazardly by her adoring friends described a fairy tale honeymoon in a fun little way. The food was delicious and the cake divine. The gathering concluded with a special time of prayer of blessings over the soon-to-be-married.
