Alisha, an interior designer, went over the top with all of the fabulous details of her wedding. Not only were many of the design ideas her own, but she also implemented much of the design herself including her save the dates and wedding invitations. How cute is Alisha with her “I do” on the bottom of her perfect ballet slippers. Love that she went non-traditional with a pop of color.

Laura, Matron of Honor and best friend of the bride, placed the same bracelet on Alisha’s wrist that Laura wore on her wedding day. Laura had forgotten a borrowed item on her wedding day, so she borrowed Alisha’s bracelet. The girls became a bit emotional with the nostalgia.

Alisha’s dress (Designer: Mikaella / A Wedding Wonderland in Knoxville) was absolutely gorgeous and I am loving what her seamstress did on the interior of the dress. . .

We had some extra time prior to the ceremony so we took advantage by doing some shots of Alisha looking absolutely fabulous on her wedding day!

Again, details were endless. I love the wine box Alisha chose to house her programs.

The causal and natural feel of the bouquets were perfect for this outdoor wedding. The twine used to wrap the stems made a perfect accent.

Alisha was a bit nervous and anxious prior to the ceremony, but overall just excited to see her groom!

The ring bearer stole my heart through his sweet tears as he walked down the aisle and then clung to his mom during the ceremony. Be sure to not the chap stick in his hand :)

Niko and Alisha’s wedding location was a amazing and means so much to the family. Niko’s family owned this property long ago and sold in to open up their fabulous restaurants.

Alisha’s expression was priceless as she saw her groom for the first time on her wedding day.

Niko could not take his eyes off his bride and had a permanent smile the entire ceremony.

Again, fabulous details this wedding had. Alisha even hand painted the adorable “Niko & Alisha’s Wedding” sign.

This extraordinary wedding reception location is part of Angelos’, Niko’s brothers restaurant.

This seriously was the most fun reception ever complete with traditional Greek dancing. I kept saying I wanted to die and come back Greek. These people know how to have and absolutely fabulous time!

Congrats Alisha and Niko! So excited for you in your new life together and I must say I am just a bit jealous of your epic honeymoon to the Greek Isles coming up next month! Have SO much fun!

Really love this one of these two. They were not going to let the rain get in the way of a perfect wedding day!

Jodi’s beautiful floral bouquet is from The Treasured Petal

Jodi is aspiring model and makeup artist. Do you think she has what it takes? Cha-yeah! Matt you are not so bad yourself! Seriously, you both were fantastic!

This is hot!

Jodi and Matt were so playful and fun together…loved that!

While there were over 20 people staring at them, Matt looked at Jodi as if she was the only one around.

Your laugh is fabulous Jodi and you are so beautiful inside and out!

Lindsey admits to being “a bit of a plant geek” and first heard of her now favorite flower, Hellebores, on a beloved gardening show on HGTV. Lindsey had a special request for said flowers in her bouquet. While these flowers are out of season this time of year, florist, Gloria, JUST so happened to have them growing in her yard and they JUST so happened to decide to bloom. Lindsey was both ecstatic and surprise to see this favorite flower nestled in her wedding day bouquet. Gorgeous florals by Making Arrangements.

While the ceremony was full of emotion, the reception was strictly party. From the bridesmaids singing “Oh Maria” to Travis’ fraternity brothers singing an initiation to his bride to non stop dancing in between, Emily & Travis’ reception was non stop fun! {Complete side note: I was singing “Oh Maria” tonight and Ada kept saying “more, more”. Jimmy commented that it is the first time he has ever heard anyone ask me to sing more. In all honesty I really can’t sing and Ada was laughing every time I started up again, so I am pretty sure she agrees.}

Emily and Travis if your wedding day was any indication, you two have a long incredibly happy life together. I wish you all the best!!!

A last minute adjustment by the beautiful bride before she proceeded to see her groom.

I think it is safe to say Travis was very happy to see his bride.

The girls found a perfect spot perched in the window to witness Emily and Travis’ first look.

Did I mention the day was filled with happiness? Emily was surrounded by her sister and closest friends.

This completely unprompted moment has to be my all time favorite interaction between a bride and her daddy. I.-Love-This! It was definitely an emotional day for both, but they carved out small portions of their day just for them.

The low-lite church offered an intimate feel to a very crowded church.

As mentioned prior, it was an emotional day and I am thankful the emotion in this shot was captured.

It was if like most little girls, this flower girl was dreaming about a wedding one day, just for her.

What a great addition to the couple’s reception site, a personalized marquee. . .

I often cry during weddings. I even,um, tear up while editing your pictures sometimes. Yes with yours and yours AND yours.
While in the confessional I might as well admit yes, books, movies and music can evoke emotion in me as well. So, when your beautiful lives are coupled with a song that already makes me loose it, well, then I really loose it. All this to say that this post definitely embraces the situation described above and that, yeah I am a little sappy.

Jessica and Pete, thank you! Thank you so much for entrusting me in your wedding day. Thank you for being beautifully in love with each other. Thank you for bucking the norm and just being you and, um you. My favorite part of your wedding was when I found out you were foregoing the wedding march and substituting a song that, in my opinion, speaks so much more. Since all of you who stopped by here today may not have been in attendance at Jessica and Pete’s wedding, you will still have the opportunity to be clued in. The song that accompanies Jessica and Pete’s slideshow will take you to the moment when Jessica slowly walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams. Listen to the words and the meaning. I have loved this song since the first time I heard it several years ago.

Jessica and Pete I hope you love your pictures. I hope they evoke emotion in you. I hope that if you ever start to forget even a little, that these pictures will take you back to the sights, sounds, smells and emotions experienced on your day.  And lastly, I hope that you live. I would rather live without until I found the one I can’t live without. That’s what he said and lived by and then he found her. The one he could not live without.

Starbucks, Chilis and a little bit of modern technology in the form of text messaging brought these two together. They now have come together before family, friends and their Lord to become husband and wife. These two have great things in store for them. I am just waiting for it all to continue to unfold!

Becca and Marco, thank you so very very very much for giving me the opportunity to document your once in a lifetime event. I fell in love with you, your families and friends that weekend. You two are surrounded by nothing but wonderful! So glad you two had a fabulous Hawaiian Honeymoon and hope you have a blast living out the rest of your life with the one you can’t live without.
