Shelby is my first senior for the class of 2011. What an uber fun girl to start out the season with. Photographing graduating seniors are some of my absolute favorite sessions and Shelby definitely did not disappoint. Shelby, you are absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Kari may seem shy at first, but she soon warms up and her super sweet fun spirit shines through. Her faith is strong, her passion is music and she is not sure what she would do without her BFF Denver. They have many inside jokes and their quotations would make anyone laugh. Mere weeks from graduation, I believe Kari has had a very positive High School experience, but at the same time she is excited for the next chapter in her life, pursuing her passion for music.

Very impressive photography and Rachel is a lovely subject to capture. Of course I like the one taken in my studio, but the ones of her eyes and smile are favs too. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the one of Rachel painting as I didn’t remember that one! I’ve love to put that one on my blog. How?

This is an amazing series, however the picture of her sitting in the barn’s doorway with the shadows on the ground is an EXCEPTIONAL idea and fantastic execution! WOW.
