It’s always a fun time with these three and I just could not believe that I was laying my eyes on EJ when he first got out of his car. He has grown up soooo much! I love his strawberry blonde curls and his squinty eyed green. He seriously is so stinkin’ adorable!! So fun to catch up with you three! Hope you love your pics!! :)

I loved meeting the adorable and tiny 5 day old, Eleanor aka Ellie! Adorable is an understatement!! She looks just like her beautiful mommy. Ellie was the perfect little sweetheart during her session and was all about being snuggled. Matt and Joni happily obliged. :) I hope I get to see you again very soon beautiful girl!!

Bittersweet is definitely the word that describes the first birthday of my Moncrief Photography babies. It is the wildest thing to go along on a year long journey with someone and see them literally change right before your very eyes. There was much to be celebrated at Reid’s first birthday party. It is crazy, but he really is already showing an interest in baseball and so a baseball themed first birthday party definitely made so much sense. There was ballpark food, pennants galore, baseball to sign by all Reid’s guests, custom baseball themed cookies for favors, his very own baseball diamond in the backyard and tons of people that love Reid oh so much!! This party was very adorable! Happy Birthday Reid! I love you so much and look forward to being a part of your life for many years to come!!

I love love loved their maternity session and after 9 months in the belly and 9 months out of the belly we got to meet at last! Ike is a cutie! He isn’t walking on his own just yet, but he loves to take steps while holding his mommy and daddy’s hand. I think he would literally walk to the end of the earth and back using this method of travel. Ike, let’s meet again soon!! Lots of Love!

It is crazy to thing that with your next session you will be one, Reid! It has been a crazy fun 9 months that is for sure! The anticipation of your arrival when your mommy was pregnant, the slight scare when you were born and your perfect little self growing right up. My two favorite parts of this session definitely consisted of your wide mouth grin while you tossed your big red ball around. Secondly was when your daddy was tickling you and your mommy. So much fun and so much laughter!

Reid’s mommy said: He is into EVERYTHING!  He is crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything, opening drawers/cabinets, swings doors, and CLIMBS the stairs. He loves for you to crawl around with him and will sometimes chase after you.  I love it when he crawls over to me, pulls up on my leg, and gives me a little pout or smile for me to pick him up.  We are seeing him develop a love for balls (as I believe all little boys do).  He will often laugh uncontrollably when playing catch.  It’s seriously the cutest thing ever!  He is also becoming more and more ticklish like his mommy!  T likes to torture us both with tickle fights.  Now that the weather is so beautiful, we like to spend time outside when we can.  We like to have family night around the firepit (smores included, of course) while playing corn hole.  We also like to take him to Heritage Park where he can swing.  Sometimes he looks terrified; others he lights up with joy.  : )  He is eating more finger foods and I believe he would eat those Gerber puffs til he threw up.  I just love watching him pick them up and put them in his mouth…I can’t believe he ever gets one in there.  If he’s feeling generous he will share a slobber soaked one with me. His bedtime routine is still one of my favorite things. He still loves bath time the most!  After the bath we read a story, say our prayers, then go to bed.  It’s something the 3 of us do together each night, and it’s precious time to me.  I often sit back and watch T with him and it makes me cry happy tears!  I LOVE this kid; everything about him!
